I didn't see it, but what I do see is more porn, so just putting this up front to cover the nasty spam.

Well, we're both in luck. I forgot what I had said. I think, though, in a very strange way, I was saying he wasn't all bad. And I don't believe he has any mental problem.

Oh well, time will tell.

The former Gov's selection for R. Burris, now a US Senator, is being called upon already to resign due to various interpretations the he, Burris, "mislead" by omission and/or changed some important facts he had stated under oath.

Of course, he sounds just like Blago in proclaiming he has done nothing illegal.

Actually, it may be true that Burris did not a thing wrong, BUT, even the slightest hint of impropriety in the weird situation where a Gov. with no support defied everyone in making a selection for the Senate, (which is what apparently triggered the Feds calling a halt to Blago as he was taped wanting to sell the seat for a lotta dough) I say, even the slighted hint of something wrong
would naturally cause a firestorm since so many leaders are being made to look, er, rather weak and perhaps foolish to some.

Anyway, when Burris's own party starts talking of his needing to leave, watch out.

When candidate Obama made the 'lipstick on a pig' (is still a pig) remark, I guess he could've been referring to the old stereotype of Chicago politics.

This Sen. Burris thing is something else. If it turns out he is either ousted or resigns, what will have been the lesson?

The days & especially the long nights are becoming sooo lonely, each time I realize that Rod and Rolland weren't plastered on the headlines. I underestimated who much I'd miss their lovable antics. I can only hope that this is a brief reprieve, to let us all know how much we really, really need to be entertained by only them......

If I had 3 wishes, I'd gladly use two of them to wish that 1) the fed. corruption trial of Rod's will be a smashingly long, drawn-out Water-Gate type thing, to consume hours and hours of my video tape collection (erasing even over old Lassie reruns!).

and 2) that when the U.S. Senate does its thing with Rolland, we will all be moved to tears.

I don't know about you, since you won't post, but I can't take it toooo much longer....Please call your elected (no appointed filler, please!) representatives and the Mayor and the dog catcher and say you want Rod & Rolland back in the headlines, pronto! Thank you!

Well, my former wish about Mr. Rod B. is coming true. Big fed. trial coming up. Nothing about Rolland, though. Actually, I don't care as long as the stock market keeps coming back. Sorry.

I do hope ole Rod had a good time in Disney World.. His day of fun might be over for a while.. lets hope so.. though I do feel sorry for his daughters.. they are at that age when kids can be mean.. Maybe Rolland will be next in line as the charges keep coming.. He even looks like an evil man.. and my guess.. he will be guilty as charged.. (hopefully)

By James Hibberd James Hibberd ? Wed Apr 15, 1:57 am ET
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) ? Rod Blagojevich, recently removed from office as governor of Illinois, has made a deal to star in NBC's upcoming summer reality show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here," the network confirmed Tuesday.

"Rod Blagojevich will be a participant on the show pending the court's approval," NBC said.

In the series, 10 celebrities of various backgrounds compete in challenges to raise money for their favorite charities.

The network has been looking for household names for its version of the U.K. hit, which launches June 1. NBC is taking the unusual step of airing the show four nights a week at 8 p.m. for nearly a month, and a successful launch could fuel the network's entire summer schedule.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Blagojevich's attorney told a federal judge Tuesday that he will file a request to loosen his client's travel restrictions to participate in the show, which will be shot in Costa Rica.

After being impeached by the Illinois House of Representatives for corruption and misconduct in office and subsequently convicted and removed from office by the State Senate, Blagojevich was indicted April 1 on federal corruption charges that included 11 counts of wire fraud, three of extortion, one of racketeering and one of lying to federal investigators.

He has pleaded not guilty.
