I still go into panic attacks whenever I happen to see, which is extremely rare now, any animal heads mounted on walls. Thank goodness I wasn't a Pilgrim!

For around 40 or so years now, I often feel my skull and wonder what's going on inside there......

I am not tuned into whatever today's culture is and I do not wish to be tuned in. I'd turn it back to 1984 and let it stand there.

When I was very young I'd heard about Lincoln having lived in a log cabin. That always seemed like a cool thing but it wasn't until much later, last year, in fact, that I found out living in a log cabin had nothing in particular to do with the syrup. Shucks.

Gee, C.G., I would have assumed that young girls would have dreamed more of "Aunt Jamima" rather than "Log Cabin". Actually, it could be a toss up, though.

After reading about your idea of log cabins and syrup, I fixed the ole Aunt J pancakes and A.J. butter syrup(didn't cook the syrup, just served it) , along with eggs, and bacon for supper.. g'kids and I love breakfast for a cool damp "ugly" evening..

Now, more idea's, so I can plan my weekend menu.. lol..

Oh, I could go on & on about the strange routine I have for eating. I think I'll save that topic for the moment and only say that one thing I snack on should sound strange. I choose not to eat very much meat, one for the cost consideration, another for perhaps being something of a vegetarian at heart. Nevertheless, I love the taste of bacon and all that sort of food. But outside of balogna I have found a type of potted ham I can stand. I also eat a lot of mini-pretzels (though air-popped popcorn is my #1 snack.) Well, not too long ago I took a mini-pretzel and scooped a dab of potted ham on it.....(Yuck??) Well, actually, I've been doing it ever since. As I say, I don't get a lot of protein from any meat, so, this little snack is sort of a substitute.

Hey! "BOOM"! The first thunderclap......I should get off of here. Don't want the computer to get damaged, right?!

I like to feel I'm getting a bargain. So much so, that I actually have gotten blood from a turnip(!)

My perspective on some things have changed over the years. I still abhor drive-through fast-food ordering where you have to scream at the lifeless "box" and they garble something or other back at you........ BUT I now like answering machines though I wouldn't want to marry one.

I now believe the National Anthem should be changed to an easier song, such as "Jingle Bell Rock".

I find it difficult if not impossible to throw out family photos unidentified, far before my time, even though they will never be ID'd.
