In almost 60 years

Of the Julian calander,

Er, calendar,

I cannot remember when

I've EVER wanted to see the

Day AFTER the election HERE!

PLEASE let it be a landslide,

NOT ONE hanging chad, PLEASE

Let it be crooked, bought, sold

Murdered for but only let it be

OVER!

I ask this for Yahoo, Pahoo and SY-EEB

But for the quick glance

the talisman stood not heaving

or snuffuting perilous oxides,

beyond the pale wishes of poor

Nell, I knew her well

and it twas a dry and

barren loading dock

sittin' on the bay of

St. Elmo, always patient,

loving and a jerk, he

never abdicated like all the

polls said you said he would

for thine is not quite as

lark-like but more of a tweedy

nature which is not good during

hunting season-

The sun

will shine

the day

after

tomorrow,

hopefully?

Untitled-And For Good Reason

The empty horizon

Stretched it's fuzzbuster

To lengths only found in

The Milky Way, though Snickers

Always prevailed as the better buy if

One liked nuts enough.

Ode to H. L. Humes

Passing thy Torch

Doth not ring noblest

IF rounding a Curve of

Sumptuous Butterballs

"Ends"

Ends mean new
Beginnings, but
Mostly they mean
Ends

Bonus: "Ways and Means"

I once knew a fellow by the name of "Means"
But I never knew anyone named "Ways".

My Pipes

My pipes are
Frozen, like the
Wings of poor little
Sparrows who cry for their
Departed mama,
Never to flutter but to wither
Such a cold & cruel fate.

Wondering

The bleat of the sheep
Awakens my ailing heart
To wonderful days, long ago of
Consuming little morsels of
Lamb Chops, all the while wondering
If Miss Lewis will mind very much.

Baa Baa

There are no ends, no beginnings
Only the lonely bleating of the sheep's
Sadness over such a poor shearing.

"Huh?"

All that remains is misery,
Pain, suffering, gnashing of
Tennis balls, a great sadness,
Intolerable loss of all human meaning
And joy dishwashing stuff.
All because of little puffs of
Cloroxed jeans.

Zam-Bunktious!
Skee-Lumderung!
Pabst-Fumalung!
Tread the sky with vigor!
Spy on your turnstile with zest!
Sharpen your locks with beagles!

This barren, empty vessal
Never liked Georgie Jessel

For there is much to be said
For the likes of dear old Fred

Yet little of note
Of Old Abe's log boat

So off we celebrate
With or without a mate

To say to you all
"Bloke, und kindork stall"

Reaching takes such effort and in-

volves such hurtful risk that I'm

Truly not so sure I'll ever face it

Tsk tsk tsk--
